The Unified Development Code (UDC), adopted by the City Council on March 25, 2003, is the primary guide to development within the City of Georgetown.
The UDC incorporates procedures, standards and regulations for zoning as well as subdivision applications.
The goal of the UDC is to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizens, and to regulate orderly and healthy development of the city.
UDC applies to buildings and developments.
