There are several cats running around in my neighborhood. Is that allowed?

It is a violation of city ordinance for a cat that has not been licensed, altered or vaccinated for rabies to run at large.
Free roaming cats that cause a nuisance while off the premises of their owners are in violation of city ordinance and can be impounded or their owners can be fined.
In addition, you may not allow an animal to damage, soil, defile or defecate on private property other than the owner’s property unless such waste is immediately removed and properly disposed of by the owner of the animal.
Please call the Animal Control at 512-930-3510, option 6, to report a violation.
