Note Vehicle Details
Write down the make, model, color, and license plate number, as well as the exact location of the vehicle. -
Describe the Dog
Observe the dog’s condition—such as panting, drooling, or showing signs of distress—and be ready to share this information. -
Call Police Dispatch
Dial 512-930-3510 and select Option 6 for Animal Control assistance.
Important Tip
Please keep a safe distance from the vehicle. Standing too close can cause the dog additional stress.
