The City of Georgetown’s Animal Control Division is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of residents, pets, and wildlife. If you encounter an animal concern within city limits, our trained Animal Control Officers will assess the situation and determine the most appropriate course of action.

What to Expect:

An Animal Control Officer will respond to the report and evaluate the situation.

If appropriate, the officer may remove the animal.

In some cases, residents may be advised to contact a licensed pest control or private trapping service for removal, particularly if the situation falls outside the scope of Animal Control services.
