The Georgetown Police Department provides several ways for citizens to access information, request records, and connect with services. From crash reports to permits, the Police Department and its Records Division are here to assist you.

Citizens can access the Police to Citizen webpage to:

  • Search public safety incidents

  • Obtain copies of crash reports

  • Submit officer commendations

  • Access other community information

Records Division Services

The Records Division assists with requests for:

  • Open Records

  • Abandoned Vehicles

  • Statistical Information

  • Reviewing electronic reports for Incident-Based Reporting (IBR) submission

  • Scanning and filing incoming documents

  • Issuing Solicitor Permits, Alarm Permits, and Parking Permits
