Can I drop off used hearing aids at the library?
Georgetown Library Now Accepting Hearing Aid Donations
Overview
The Georgetown Public Library is now a local drop-off site for hearing aid donations, helping connect those in need with the gift of sound.
A Single Donation Can Change a Life
If you have a hearing aid you no longer use, consider donating it at the Georgetown Public Library. Your donation can help a child hear better in school or assist someone in finding a job.
The library has a drop-off box managed by the Sertoma Club, who collect donations periodically. They accept hearing aids, batteries, cases, and cleaning tools, which are refurbished and given to those in need. Please note expired batteries and other electronics are not accepted.
Donations can also be mailed to the Hearing Aid Project at 720 Main Street, FL 1, Kansas City, MO 64105. Include your email for a donation receipt.
Donate today and help change a life.
