Second-Hand Prose Bookstore

Overview

Second-Hand Prose is a used bookstore run by volunteers from the Friends of the Georgetown Public Library. It's open every day and located on both the first and second floors of the library.

All money earned goes back to the library to help pay for programs and materials that aren’t covered by the city budget. 

Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Georgetown Public Library is a nonprofit organization that supports the library year-round through fundraising events, membership drives and sales at the Second-Hand Prose bookstore.
