Can I donate books and other materials to the library?

Book & Media Donations

Overview

The library gratefully accepts donations of books, CDs, DVDs, and other media items that people can read, watch, listen to, or enjoy. Donated items support library services and community programs. We kindly ask that all materials be clean, in good condition, and suitable for resale or circulation.

Donation Guidelines

We accept the following materials:

  • Books (excluding Reader’s Digest Condensed Books)

  • CDs and DVDs

  • Puzzles, games, and other media-related items in good condition

We cannot accept:

  • Items that are wet, moldy, or damaged

  • Reader’s Digest Condensed Books

  • Toys, technological devices, or equipment

Donation Hours

Small donations (up to 4 boxes) may be dropped off during the following hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

  • Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  • Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Please note:

  • Library staff are not available to assist with loading or unloading materials.

  • A book cart is available at the circulation desk to help transport items from your vehicle.

For donations exceeding four boxes, please schedule an appointment with the Friends of the Library by emailing:
