Overview

 Make a difference in your community while gaining valuable experience! The Georgetown Public Library offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for:

  • Teens (Ages 13–17)

  • Adult Volunteers

  • Court-Approved Community Service (Ages 18+)

Volunteering at the library is a rewarding way to support your community, learn new skills, and connect with others. Opportunities range from quiet, behind-the-scenes tasks to interactive, public-facing roles.

Volunteer Application

Persons interested in volunteering at the library must complete a volunteer application, parental permission slip (teens only) and a library Skills Assessment (available online or at the circulation desk) and return to a staff member to begin the volunteer process. The forms may be located on the Library Volunteer webpage.
