Overview

The Good Water Loop is a 28-mile trail that circles Lake Georgetown, offering visitors a scenic journey through oak-juniper forests, bottomland hardwoods, and prairie grasslands. Part of the San Gabriel River Trail, this loop is a favorite for hiking, biking, and nature exploration.

The trail connects two key parks:

• Booty’s Crossing Park (trailhead managed by the City of Georgetown)
