Good Water Loop Trail

The Good Water Loop of the San Gabriel River Trail at Lake Georgetown is a 28-mile trail that winds through dense Oak/Ashe Juniper Forest, bottomland hardwoods and prairie grasslands.

This scenic trail circles Lake Georgetown, connecting two popular parks:

1. Booty’s Crossing Park: Managed by the City of Georgetown, this is the starting point of the loop.
2. Overlook Park: This trail also connects to this park, offering breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding area.
