Public Information Requests

Overview

The City of Georgetown is committed to transparency and open government. Under the Texas Public Information Act, residents may request access to public records maintained by the City.

Processing times vary depending on the type and amount of information requested. If the City cannot provide the requested information within 10 business days, the requester will be notified of the estimated date and time it will be available, as required by state law.
