Household Hazardous Waste
Overview
Many household and garden products labeled caution, toxic, poison, corrosive, or danger are hazardous waste and should not be poured down drains, on the ground, or placed in curbside trash because improper disposal can harm water supplies and waste handlers.
The City of Georgetown hosts four (4) collection events each year: January, May, September, and November.
