Confirm Limb Contact with Power Line Before Reporting

Overview:
Before reporting a tree limb issue, please verify that the limb is actually touching the power line. Power lines are located at the very top of the utility pole for safety.  Confirming limb contact helps direct your concern to the correct provider.

The City of Georgetown has multiple electric providers in the area.

Confirm you are a City of Georgetown electric customer by checking this map.

1. Click on the “Layer List” in the top right-hand corner of the page.
2. Click on the “Utility Layers” drop-down arrow
3. Select “Electric Service Providers” and find the address in question
