Power Line Safety

• Stay at least 50 feet away from downed power lines and anything touching them.
  
• If someone is in contact with a downed line, do not touch them: Call 911.
• Move away from downed lines by shuffling with small steps, keeping your feet close together.
• Do not connect a generator to your house, as it can cause back feed, injuring linemen performing repairs.
