Tales on the Trails: A Storywalk Adventure

Overview:

Tales on the Trails is a Storywalk, which is a deconstructed storybook displayed along a trail that encourages reading through movement. To enjoy the story, simply walk the path and read each page as you go. This free, public event is a joint project from the Friends of Georgetown Parks and Recreation and the Friends of the Georgetown Public Library.

Details at a Glance

  • Read a story one page at a time as you enjoy a walk outdoors.

  • Location is on the Randy Morrow Trail (walk east to west)

  • Distance is a half-mile round trip

  • Books change throughout the year to keep the experience fresh

  • Free, open to public, and great for all ages
