Anyone (including resident, homeowner, renter, business) whose properties have been affected by disaster should report their damages on the Texas Department of Emergency Management's Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT).

iSTAT gives the authorities insight into the costs and request for aid (volunteers and federal financial assistance) that may be available. 

Please note that you are still encouraged to report damages through your insurance, as iSTAT does not file insurance claims.
