2023 Resident Satisfaction Survey Highlights

The City of Georgetown uses Resident Satisfaction Surveys to help guide planning, budgeting, and services.

In 2023, 94% of residents rated Georgetown’s overall quality of life as good or excellent, and 70% said they receive good or excellent value for their city taxes—both increases from the 2020 survey.

High Satisfaction with City Services:

• Fire & EMS: 98%

• Police: 94%

• Library: 94%

• Parks: 93%

• Garbage: 94%

• Recycling: 87%

• Water: 76%

• Electric: 79%

Perceptions of Safety:

• Neighborhood (daytime): 95%

• Neighborhood (after dark): 88%

• Downtown Square: 92%

• City parks: 82%

• Shopping centers: 84%

• Recreational waters: 75%
