Water Quality Report

Overview
The City of Georgetown is dedicated to delivering safe, clean drinking water to all residents. Our 2024 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report and Consumer Confidence Report provide a detailed summary of the water quality managed by the City of Georgetown Water Utility. We encourage customers to review the full 2024 Water Quality Report for comprehensive information.

Ensuring the safety and quality of your drinking water is our top priority. To meet state and federal standards, the City of Georgetown conducts rigorous testing and monitoring throughout the year. One key aspect of this process involves routine testing for Copper and Lead, which occurs twice annually. These tests help us detect any potential contamination from plumbing materials that may contain these metals.

Copper and lead, if present in drinking water at unsafe levels, can pose significant health risks over time. Our water crews work diligently to prevent such risks, following strict guidelines set by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). By doing so, we strive to provide you with the highest quality potable water.
