Who do I call if someone falls and can’t get up?

Get Help Safely After a Fall

If someone has fallen and cannot get up, please call the Georgetown Police Department’s non-emergency line at (512) 930-3510.

A trained Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will be dispatched to assist.

What to Expect

A medical professional will assess the individual upon arrival.
Service fees may apply depending on the situation.

When to Call 911

Call 911 immediately if:

  • The fall occurs on a weekend or holiday when non-emergency services may be limited

  • The person has been on the ground for more than one hour

  • The person is injured, unconscious, or experiencing significant pain or distress
