Lake Georgetown

Lake Georgetown spans over 1,200 acres, offering activities such as boating, skiing, fishing, camping areas, a wildlife preserve, and 16 miles of hiking trails.

The lake is renowned for its excellent fishing, with abundant small and largemouth bass, white bass, flathead, and channel catfish.

Managed by the Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Georgetown requires advance registrations for entry to all its parks.

Parks

Cedar Breaks Park and Jim Hogg Park provide boat ramps and camping facilities with RV hook-ups and restrooms equipped with showers.

Russell Park features both camping and swimming areas, a boat ramp, and restrooms with showers.

Tejas Park offers primitive camping and picnic areas.

Campsite Reservations

Make reservations on Recreation.gov at Lake Georgetown Reservations.
