How do I speak at a council meeting?

Overview

The Mayor and City Council of the City of Georgetown encourage and welcome comments from the public.

The City Council meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at the Council and Court Building, 510 West Ninth St., unless otherwise noted on the agenda. Meetings are recorded and re-broadcast on Suddenlink cable channel 10 at 6 p.m. on the Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday following each meeting.

To make a request to speak at a council meeting, please submit online under Report an Issue.
