What are Georgetown Neighborhood Roundtables?

Georgetown Neighborhood Roundtable

Overview

The City of Georgetown is working to strengthen communication with local neighborhoods. The Georgetown Neighborhood Roundtable (GNR) helps neighborhood leaders and City staff share information and work together.

About the Georgetown Neighborhood Roundtable

The Georgetown Neighborhood Roundtable (GNR) is a group made up of:

  • Homeowner Association (HOA) board members

  • Neighborhood Association (NA) board members

  • Community organization leaders

  • City of Georgetown staff and leaders

What The Group Does

The group meets every three months (quarterly) to:

  • Share updates about what is happening in Georgetown

  • Talk about neighborhood issues and concerns

  • Improve communication between the City and neighborhoods

  • Build stronger relationships across the community

Other Benefits

Members also receive:

  • A monthly newsletter from the City

  • Information they can share with their neighborhood

Membership Guidelines

To be part of the GNR, you must:

  • Be a board member or official leader of your HOA or NA

  • Have permission to speak for your neighborhood

  • Have a way to share information with your neighbors

Help Us Reach More Neighborhoods

The City is asking neighborhood leaders to complete a survey. This helps us:

  • Find neighborhoods we may not be connected with yet

  • Make sure all areas of Georgetown are represented

If you are an HOA or NA board member, please complete the survey.
