askGTX: Georgetown’s Connection to City Services

Overview

askGTX is the City of Georgetown’s customer service platform that helps residents find information, report non-emergency problems, and connect with City departments online, by phone, and through the mobile app.

Important Information 

  • Residents can submit non-emergency service request and track their status through askGTX.
  • The online knowledge base provides answers to frequently asked questions about city services.
  •  Emergency situations should be reported to 911.
  • Request submitted through askGTX are routed to the appropriate City department for review and response. 

Making City Services Easier to Access 

The City of Georgetown created askGTX to make it easier for residents to communicate with the City. Instead of calling different departments for help, residents can use one system to find answers and request services.

askGTX Mobile App

Residents can also use the askGTX mobile app on their smartphones for convenient access to City services. The app is available for Apple and Android devices and provides another easy way to connect with the City.

With the askGTX mobile app, residents can:

  • Submit non-emergency service requests
  • Report community concerns by location
  • Attach photos or documents to requests
  • Track the status of requests
  • Access City information and resources
  • Submit requests anonymously or create an account to track request and receive updates
