Riverbank Clean-Up with the City of Georgetown

Overview:

The City of Georgetown invites residents to take part in a community riverbank clean-up. This event supports the ongoing effort to protect natural spaces and maintain the beauty of our local environment. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors while making a visible impact.

How to Participate

To volunteer, send an email to ms4operator@georgetowntexas.gov with the names of all participants. A waiver must be completed by each volunteer, either in advance or at the event.

Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Volunteers should wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and sun protection such as hats and sunglasses.

Schedule

  • Check-In: 7:30 – 7:45 AM

  • Safety Meeting: 7:55 AM

  • Clean-Up: 8:00 – 9:00 AM

  • Trash and Material Drop-Off: 9:00 AM

This community effort helps preserve Georgetown’s scenic areas and ensures public spaces remain clean and enjoyable for everyone.
