Downtown Parking Garage – Key Information
The Austin Avenue Parking Garage is located at 502 S. Main St. in downtown Georgetown. The garage opened on Nov. 21, 2025, and added 315 parking spaces to help visitors, workers, and residents find parking downtown.

The City does not plan to charge for parking during the first few years

The building includes 4,000 square feet of office space

Staff from the City’s Downtown and Tourism Department will work there

The Georgetown Convention and Visitors Bureau plans to move into the building while its current offices are renovated
