How to Report a Dog at Large
Overview
If you see a loose or stray in Georgetown, report it to Animal Control to help keep people, pets, and the dogs safe. Animal Control officers respond to calls within city limits for loose, injured, aggressive, or at-risk animals. Service is available seven days a week, with calls handled 24 hours a day through Georgetown Police Dispatch. You may also report a dog at large on the Report an Issue webpage. Do not attempt to catch the dog unless it is safe; instead, provide the location and a description when you call.
