Overview

Pickleball is a fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is easy to learn, fun to play, and provides great exercise while being easy on the joints.

About the Game

Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court with a net set at 34 inches at the center. Players use solid paddles and a perforated plastic ball. The game is beginner-friendly, socially engaging, and competitive at higher levels.

McMaster Athletic Complex

  • Outdoor courts available on a first-come, first-served basis

  • Open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Players must provide their own paddles and balls

  • Indoor courts available during designated drop-in times

  • Courts first come, first served

  • Paddle stacking is used when courts are full

  • Equipment is available; daily pass required for non-members

  • Outdoor courts available for drop-in play and reservations

  • Members play free; non-members pay $4 per hour per person

  • Open play available Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
