The City of Georgetown, through a special grant, proudly operates the first Police Department in Williamson County to accept controlled medications via secure kiosk collection. This program provides residents with a safe and convenient way to dispose of unwanted medications year-round.

Controlled substances: pain medications, sedatives, muscle relaxers, anti-anxiety medications

Prescription medications: blood pressure, diabetic (pills only), cholesterol medications

Over-the-counter medications: allergy relief, topical creams, cough syrup, herbal supplements

Pet medications: heartworm preventatives, pain relief, diabetic medications
